Translation & Line Breaking

Subwright translates the whole transcript in the Watch page, keeping original, bilingual and translated views one switch apart.

Translation

1. Open the Watch page and switch the inspector to Deliver
2. Open Translate, choose the target language (12 supported), and start
3. Results stream in line by line; switch Original / Bilingual / Translated at any time
4. Import an existing SRT/VTT translation, or inspect each request in the request log

Supported Languages

English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Italian.

Proofread, cleanup and line breaking

AI text work lives in the Script stage:

• AI proofread: per-line suggestions for homophones, names and terminology; nothing changes until you confirm.
• Cleanup: remove trailing punctuation, remove filler words, merge short pauses — all undoable.
• AI line breaking: re-split and merge subtitle lines by character count without re-running ASR.

The standalone Polish pass is gone; the same result comes from proofread plus cleanup.

Usage Limits

AI features count toward your daily transcription quota. Free tier: 8 transcriptions/AI calls per day combined. Pro: unlimited.
